Raise
Pick one of three corpses from the town graveyard. Each has a past: a squire, a pauper, a night watchman, and whatever they were buried with.

A gothic body-part duel. Raise the dead, cut your foes apart, and sew on what you take.
Every hero of the realm rode out, and none came back. Only the dregs remain.
Dregmancer is a front-on roguelike duel. You play a reluctant hermit necromancer, and your army is whoever is left in the graveyard.
Fights are physical. You see where every blow will travel, drag your shield or your body into or out of its path, and aim your own cuts to take limbs off. Sever the arm that holds the axe and its blow never lands.
Whatever falls is yours. Sew it on, and the part brings its moves with it.
How a fight goes

Pick one of three corpses from the town graveyard. Each has a past: a squire, a pauper, a night watchman, and whatever they were buried with.

Every attack is drawn as a line before it lands. Drag your shield into its path, or pull your body out of the way.

Slash across a limb to cut it clean off at the joint. Cut off the arm that holds the weapon and its blow never lands.

At the surgery, stitch what you took onto your own stumps. Horns, claws and tails bring their own attacks, and a sewn limb keeps its owner's skin and strength.
Fight out from the graveyard, through the tenements, to the keep.
Feed a book blood and it rewrites your body. Every mutation has a gift and a price.
Ink runes onto your parts with a tattoo gun found on the road.
A belt of three bottles, and fourteen brews to fill it.
The first act and its boss, on itch.io. Your save carries over into the full game.
